Yesterday I realized that for one of the areas where Alice and I will go in Malaysia, we need to take the preventive treatment for malaria. It's not a must given we'll spend only a couple of days in that specific area, but highly advised.
So here we go running to the doctor on Friday afternoon to get the prescription because of course you need one to buy this medication.
And the good surprise at the pharmacy.... 90 euros for the treatment! That's expensive for only prevention. Not reimbursed of course :(
True I'd rather pay this and not get sick vs. getting sick but still... I would have preferred spend that money on shopping or massage or any souvenir...
