Houhai lake

On Sunday, after a session with Lena while we finalized Alice's dress and ordered a suit for Wolfram, the 3 of us headed for Fish Nation in the Hutongs. It was such a nice sunny day that we wanted to find a terrace for lunch. While the food was just ok, seating on the roof of a traditional hutong house was extremely pleasant.
Stomach full Wolfram and I went for a walk through the hutongs and later around Houhai lake. Few foreigner tourists here, mostly Chinese which gives you a chance to see the young generation. Houhai lake is famous in Beijing not only for its scenery but also for its nightlife. Not much was happening on that side during the afternoon (except the happy hour with cocktails for 20RMB) as most people were on a boat on the lake. It was quite funny to see them "sailing" around in a very inexpert way, creating sometimes traffic jam :)
