Flying to Boracay

As mentioned Boracay is about 300 km from Manila so we booked a flight on Zest Air (did you know it's Asia's most refreshing airline?)to Caticlan, the closest airport from our white beach.
5:30am or so we left the hotel to the airport. Still rainy :(
Manila's domestic airport is even more a mess than the international one. Everything is done manually or so :) we quickly checked in, paid the airport tax, passed security and waited until boarding. At boarding time we took a bus to get to the aircraft located... 50m away. Honestly we could have walked; it would have been faster.

The aircraft, a MA60, was waiting for us. It's the second smallest aircraft I've ever taken (smallest one was from Pescara to Rome with 15 seats or so). This one could accommodate roughly 50 people. Be careful though, if you are too tall, your head will hit the ceiling (and your knees the seat ahead).

1 hour later or so we landed in Caticlan. Still cloudy weather but nice and warm. Definitely the smallest airport I have ever been to. One hall, 3 counters, limited security check, no luggage belt: a porter will carry them for you. In 1 minute you can cross the airport from one side to the other, isn't that efficient? :)
Now, how do we get to the hotel?
