Traffic in Cairo is simply amazing!
Amazing because:
- they manage to create 4 lines where there are only 3... sometimes even 5
- they drive so close to each other you can touch the driver in the car next to you without stretching your arm.
- traffic lights are decoration elements
- despite the chaos, cars are actually moving forward
- they are very few accidents, mostly bumps.
If you don't look to the front focusing on the side view and let the driver manage, you can have a very nice drive throughout the city without worrying at all.
Now if you start looking at the front, I'm sorry for you but there is nothing we can do for you. You'll grow a few more white hair or wringles.
It's a question of trust: trusting the driver that he knows what he is doing :)
