Mulu - On the way to Clearwater and Winds caves

This morning we took a longboat to reach the Clearwater and Winds caves.
In the rain forest a long boat is very often your best way to move around. This and your feet. Not so much of roads around.
So get on board and join us for a cruise on the river!

Half way, we stopped at a village. Clearly the objective is for us to visit the little market there and buy some souvenirs. I'm guessing that's a big source of income for the few families leaving out here. We didn't buy anything as we ended up being more interested in where and how they live vs. buying souvenirs.

 Once we were done with the village we took the long boat to reach our final destinations: the caves!
