After the religious ceremony we drove to Kammy's parents' house for a quick lunch and the tea ceremony.
While we were eating and waiting there, the bride and the groom were at his parents' place for the same tea ceremony.
After a while they showed up. Kammy had a new dress, red this time as per Chinese tradition.
Given the tea ceremony at his parents' had taken quite some time, the decision was taken to replace the tea by shaking hands. A first from what we were told. In principle Daniel should have poured tea for her father, mother, grand father, grand mother and so on. But in the interest of saving time, they just shook hands.
