One step at a time

Last month, they distributed Fitbits to people at work and challenged us to form a team an walk one million steps. The winning team did it in only four days leading the rest of us to think that all they did for four days was running until they reached the target.
This month they raised the bar and we have to complete two millions steps or 1400 km ( distance between Singapore and Bangkok.

When one of our team members joined another team, I convinced Wolfram to join ours under the condition that he could track his steps with his iPhone and not have to wear a Fitbit.

Challenge started last Monday and since then we are walking or running as much as we can. I don't think any of us has the hope to win this challenge given that we have jobs and families and don't want to compromise our limited sleep to make more steps, but we are trying.

Every step counts so we take the stairs, we walk while we are in a call, we take Oskar for a walk in the evening, we walk while brushing teeth, etc. in other words we are on the move non stop. It's exhausting and sometimes I'd like to just rest on the sofa. But we give it a shot. At least it keeps us fit - well for the two weeks we will try until the crazy guys who won last time will repeat their effort.

Wish us luck!
