We finally found the courage to leave Oskar at home and go out for dinner.
Not a lunch, not a coffee or an ice cream during the afternoon, a real dinner, at night. Something that had not happened since Oskar was born.
I had a mixed feeling of excitement when leaving the house mixed with a bit of worry. Yet, Tess was in charge, not some unknown baby sitter. I did keep my phone at hand, just in case. Of course nothing happened but it kept me reassured to know that I was reachable.
Apart from that it was simply great to go out, have dinner like we used to, talking about a million things, trying a new restaurant, and - believe it or not - celebrating our two-year anniversary (the civil one).
Time flies when you are in good company :)
