Independence square

Last chance for a bit of sight seeing tonight, I walked to the Independence Square. It's apparently the central square of Kiev and the place was packed with people. And not only tourists. People living around would just grab a drink or a book and sit there enjoying some leisure time. So I did the same for a little while.

What's even more interesting is the underground shopping center, just under your feet :) It's a pity I didn't have time to explore those 2 underground levels. Next time I guess.
