When we arrived in Romania, we were told that it was Spring. Seems no matter what on March 1st Spring is coming to Romania. And indeed, it was sunny and 10C.
Even nicer, it is tradition for all the girls to receive a Martisor: a small amulet consisting of a jewel (or symbolizing a flower, an animal, etc.) tied to a red and white string.
