Bees attack
This morning while having breakfast, Oskar pointed out a fly by the lights over the table. A little bit later after we changed him, the lonely fly had become a dozen of them. They were actually bees.
I had Aggie keep Oskar in his room while I tried to get them out. Failing to do so, I moved to killing them.
One by one, I killed easily two dozens of those. They were everywhere in the living room and kitchen. Someone must have disturbed their best to explain such an invasion.
Sunday visitor
Late in the afternoon Oskar grabbed me and took me to the window. Apparently there was something he wanted to show me. Most likely a fly or a butterfly I thought.
I was wrong. Oskar had spotted a praying mantis! Right there in our living room. A small one but still one.
It entertained Oskar and Wolfram for a while as we caught it in a glass. Wolfram took some pictures of our visitor.

Faire les 100 pas (walking 100 steps)
A few days earlier I realized that I had walked more than 10 000 steps in the day. For someone who barely leaves the house, that is quite an achievement. Looking closer at my monthly tracking (thanks to the watch), it showed that I have a monthly average of 8752 steps per day.
Again this feels incredible given I am mostly home. This said I do walk a lot within the house with Thomas when I try to get him to sleep or just stop crying. Apparently all those steps are adding up quite nicely.
Now I understand why my feet hurt at the end of the day. Maybe I should wear my sport shoes :)

Wildlife in the condo
For several days Oskar has been talking about an "orange geiko".
Today he showed me the beast.
Ps: not sure it is a geiko or some sort of lizard but it's entertaining Oskar.
