Future world

With the Friday free thanks to Goid Friday, I convinced Wolfram to go see an exhibition with the kids. Marie-Emilie had gone there last week and told me it would be great for Oskar.
We took off for our little trip mid morning, discovered that with the new downtown line we can get faster to Marina Bay Sands, and found out that there was a huge queue. In all fairness, on a holiday combined with free entrance for kids on Friday, this was to be expected. I queued with Thomas sleeping in the stroller. Wolfram went outside to play with Oskar.
By the time we had tickets we were told that there was another queue downstairs at the entrance of the exhibition as they regulate the number of people inside. They suggested for us to go have lunch and come back hoping the queue would get better. But, if you have ever been to Disneyland, you know that lunch time is when all families stop for food freeing the rides. So we stayed feeding Oskar with pompote and raisins. The queue turned out faster than predicted and soon enough we were inside.
It started with a room where flowers are growing and moving constantly. They are everywhere on the walls, the floor and even you.
We were mesmerized by this ever changing environment.
Next was the see with screens giving you the impression the you are moving.
Oskar was scared first to sit by the screen with Wolfram as he thought the floor was water. He literally put his foot out to check the water as he would by the pool.
After several attempts he made it!
The following world was the best one. It had a slide that Oskar and Wolfram ride many times (Wolfram will share the videos). There was a screen in which you could change the trajectory of the cars on it by touching them. Even better, you could color your own car/bus/truck, have it scanned and follow it on the screen.
Obviously a huge success with the kids. They had a similar screen with jelly fish a bit further.
But the best was clearly the balls which kids could play with. Oskar was in the playing area in no time bouncing left and right. Needless to say it was difficult to get him out.
In the toddler section I even had Thomas sit on one of them and roll around.

It was a small exhibition but a huge success with kids. I'm glad we went.

Six month old

Six months ago Thomas was born. Since then our lives haven't been the same. Busy, crazy busy but also crazy happy.

Happy six month Pikachu!

They are gone

After several weeks of destruction, this week they work intensively to finish taking down all the houses.
We now have a clear view on the fire station.

Now, what's happening next? And how noisy is it going to be???
